We are an online-only business, but at FAMBED® we know just how important a good night's sleep is for a happy, well-functioning family - and for having the energy to take on everyday life.
That's why we offer a 60-night sleep guarantee on our family beds (excluding the DIY system). It gives you and your family plenty of time to settle into your new bed and get used to your new sleeping arrangement. And if it doesn't feel right for your family, you can return the entire bed.
Absolutely! We can make beds, mattress toppers and sheets in almost any size, including bespoke sizes.
The largest family bed we’ve had the pleasure of delivering measured 520 x 220 cm, so space and your imagination are just about the only limits.
No. For several reasons, we’ve chosen to follow a "no sales" policy. We also increase our prices every year in line with inflation and any additional price rises. Put simply, it will never be cheaper.
Production currently takes around 4 weeks, followed by approximately one week for delivery, depending on where in the world you live. You should therefore allow around 5 weeks from order to delivery. At checkout, you’ll receive a more accurate estimate based on your address. We’ll confirm the final date by email after your purchase, as soon as it has been agreed with our production team. This applies to made-to-measure products, including family beds, mattress toppers, sheets and bed skirts.
For in-stock items, the lead time is 3-5 working days. This includes bed bridges, height-adjustable bed legs, bed rails and mattress protectors.
There is no simple answer to whether co-sleeping improves sleep quality, as every child and family is different.
That said, FamBed has conducted a carefully structured survey of more than 1,000 customers. Of the families surveyed, 92% reported a high or very high improvement in sleep quality, provided the bed offered at least 90 cm of sleeping space per adult and 60 cm per child.
We’ve heard this question many times, and we appreciate your openness. Our advice is to think creatively. Sex and intimacy can be explored in different places and at different times, not just in your double bed at bedtime. Co-sleeping doesn’t have to limit your intimate moments. Quite the opposite.
Your family bed is delivered to your door on a pallet. We don’t offer delivery into your home or assembly, but its modular design means one person can easily manage it.
The DIY co-sleeping system arrives in two large cardboard boxes. The mattress topper arrives separately in its own cardboard box, folded, rolled and vacuum-packed to make delivery possible.
Our beds are delivered in modules and assembled in place, making them easy to carry into the vast majority of homes. Depending on the family bed size you choose, you’ll receive one or more modular bed bases.
