You'll receive free delivery on orders of DKK 2,000 or more. Delivery costs DKK 50 for orders under DKK 2,000, and the threshold is calculated after discounts. If you choose an extension bed or headboard, it will be delivered by a freight carrier who will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time slot. Delivery is to the kerbside. The bed bridge, mattress topper, sheet and bed skirt will be delivered as parcels directly to your address.

Super product, good and personal service

We had ended up de facto co-sleeping because of the 4-month sleep regression. An extra matching box mattress and a fambed system made room for everyone in the same bed. Ordering and delivery worked perfectly, the mattress topper is comfortable, the sheets are lovely although a little thin, but then they take up less space in the washing machine. You can feel the bed bridge when lying on it, but I have not found it disturbing. The strap for securing the mattresses works brilliantly, we have not needed any additional fastening, which makes cleaning under the box mattresses easier. We had ordered 3 sheets but only received 2. When we contacted them, a new sheet was promptly put into production and dispatched. Super good service, the whole family is very satisfied.

GREAT solution and good service

We were really tired of half-baked solutions with mattresses on the floor for our children, and the feeling that you could never have a “nice” and tidy bedroom. We came across FAMBED and ordered a system from there, and despite a bit of a wait for delivery, we felt really well taken care of, and their product is lovely and of good quality. Now we have finally got the bedroom we dreamed of, and on top of that, we are all sleeping well now🤩 Can really recommend it to all families with children.

Perfect 👍🏼

Customer service is top-notch. They respond straight away and are friendly. They don't hide their delivery time. And it's really great that they call and prepare you for it before the order goes all the way through. We bought: top mattress, sheet and bed skirt. The top mattress is really good to lie on. The sheet is nice and pretty. The bed skirt is pretty and nice. So overall, everything is perfect and lovely. Wonderful to finally be able to lie properly in a combined bed. Works really well

We bought a 270x200 mattress topper with matching sheets and a bed skirt for an existing bed. (3 x 90 box mattresses). Easy ordering and good information about delivery, took 4 weeks. It works really well not having gaps. We have, however, kept our old memory foam mattress toppers underneath, otherwise it became a little too firm. It would be great to have a full-size memory foam mattress topper 🙏

After a lot of consideration, we decided…

After a lot of consideration, we decided to order the bed system from here. I had read several reviews and watched the videos on their website, and for the price I expected quite a lot. It starts well with good customer service, we get a phone call and are informed about the long delivery time and have to answer how long the extra bed legs should be, etc. they are very nice to talk to and reply very quickly by email. Then we receive the order. And I have to say I am a little disappointed. I had expected the bed skirt to be made of somewhat better quality fabric, it is such poor and thin fabric that I can see right through it and therefore it does not really hide much in my opinion, the recommended sheets are likewise made of somewhat poor quality fabric but even more annoying is that they are so large they cannot really be put on reasonably smoothly. Height-adjustable legs seem fine enough at first glance, the bed bridge is also fine and does what it is supposed to and the strap for keeping the beds together is also just a regular synthetic strap with a buckle. All in all a rather expensive solution and I probably should have settled for buying the bed bridge and possibly legs, as well as the mattress topper, the rest would have been wiser to either sew yourself or buy elsewhere.

Mixed experience

We bought a headboard, a bed skirt, both in beige, and a bed bridge. The ordering itself was easy and it was easy to figure out what you can add if you already have a mattress. The delivery time is long, as mentioned on their webshop, but that actually suited us very well as we also needed to paint the bedroom first. The headboard is really beautiful but a much darker shade than the bed skirt, even though both are called beige. We expected them to be the same colour since Fambed themselves advertise getting a more uniform look for the family bed, but we are still happy with the headboard itself. The bed skirt is the one we are least satisfied with. As mentioned, it is not the same colour as the headboard. We ordered it with ruffles (which is something I have had before for our regular bed from other brands), but it looks extremely messy. On the front part, meaning at the foot of the bed, there is a huge seam running vertically downwards which is very visible. The fabric is so thin that you can see through it and clearly see the bed bridge holding the bed together. The bed skirt constantly slips down from the mattress, so the white is visible at the foot of the bed. Again, it is disappointing that for that price it does not deliver the more uniform and less messy look that was promised. We are, however, satisfied with the bed bridge so far. It holds the beds together well and does not slip down between the mattresses. You have to be very aware that what you have bought cannot be returned because it has been sewn etc. to custom measurements etc. I do wonder about that, since they sell it in fixed sizes. The 3 stars are for the headboard, the bed bridge and the delivery itself. And here I actually feel a little generous in my review. I am tempted to give less than 3 because our fambed does not work together as a whole.

FAMBED IS NOTHING SHORT OF WORLD-CLASS! 🤩 The product itself is brilliant! It is good quality, user-friendly and exactly what all families with children are missing and need! - FAMBED has tremendously improved our nights and created a much better ‘framework’ for our children’s sense of security at night. .. but their customer service 🫨 Yes, I’m missing a word that can surpass world-class! When FAMBED experienced high demand, it created difficulties in meeting the delivery deadline. But it was no problem. Because lovely Oliver made sure to keep us updated both by email and phone - Oliver was simply on the ball, so as a customer you never experienced uncertainty or doubt. FAMBED optimised their production and brought in more seamstresses. They even ended up shipping the product earlier than expected. All while Oliver constantly made sure to let us know what was going on. It is nothing short of outstanding customer service 😍🥳. FAMBED is clearly a company worth investing in! Am I buying a complete bed?

No. Our FAMBED® DIY kit is designed for couples who already have a bed they love but need a little extra space, so everyone can sleep safely, comfortably and undisturbed.

With our extension kit, you can increase your sleeping space and create a bed in exactly the size you've been dreaming of.

If you'd rather replace your existing bed with a brand-new one, take a look at our family beds instead.

How long does delivery take?

All textile products, including bed skirts and sheets, as well as mattress toppers, are made to order in your chosen dimensions. Producing and sewing textiles in these extra-large sizes requires specialist methods, so you'll need to allow a little extra time.

The current production time is around 4 weeks, with delivery taking approximately one more week depending on where you live. Please allow around 5 weeks from ordering to delivery.

At checkout, you'll receive a more accurate estimate based on your address. We'll confirm the final date by email after your purchase, as soon as it has been agreed with our production team.

What types of bed are compatible with the FamBed extension kit?

The FamBed extension kit is compatible with virtually every type of bed, from continental and divan beds to bedsteads and bed frames with mattresses. There are just a couple of things to keep in mind:

Please note 1: Beds with a wide outer edge

If the edge creates a gap of more than a few centimetres between your existing bed and the extension bed, we recommend buying a block of foam and cutting it to fit the gap. Our bed bridge system is only designed to level out smaller gaps.

Please note 2: Beds with a footboard

A footboard will usually be incompatible with our bed skirt, limiting your ability to create a cohesive look that makes the combined bed resemble a single piece of furniture. In this case, consider buying a FamBed family bed or accept the slightly untidy, pieced-together look. The comfort will be the same.

What can I use as an extension bed?

You can select our FAMBED® Box Mattress for DIY Kit in step 2. Alternatively, you can use a bed you already own or buy an extension bed from a third party. An extension bed can be any bed without a frame or edges that protrude beyond the mattress.

Whichever bed you use, it needs to be the same height as your existing bed. You can achieve this by building a base for the extension, making your own bed legs or selecting our height-adjustable bed legs (15-42 cm) in step 4.

What size do you recommend for a co-sleeping bed?

Based on data collected from over 1,000 customers, we see the greatest improvement in sleep quality with at least 60 cm of sleeping space per child and 90 cm per adult. That doesn’t mean smaller extensions cannot significantly improve sleep quality. This is simply where the lines cross and any additional space has less impact. If your room cannot accommodate 90 cm per adult and 60 cm per child, less space can still make a meaningful difference. In that case, let the size of your room and your preferred layout guide your decision.
