The FamBed foam bed guard provides a soft, comfortable barrier designed to prevent young children from rolling out of bed at night. Made from firm foam, it is designed to sit beneath the sheet, preventing gaps or openings where small bodies could become trapped. This creates a continuous, safe co-sleeping environment, even for the youngest children. Anti-slip studs underneath and a fabric flap tucked beneath the sleeping child help keep the bed guard stable, so it cannot be pushed aside or down during sleep.

Good communication, service and nice quality

We bought an extension bed with a 270*200 top mattress and are super satisfied. It works really well that the mattress can be both medium and firm in firmness. The bed rail was easy to place under the sheet and works really well. The bed bridge works absolutely perfectly, and both we and our twins sleep significantly better in the new co-sleeping bed. A slightly long delivery time - but really good and quick communication after ordering - good service. The delivery time was also met, and everything ordered was included.

Soft protection against falls, with no loose gap

The FamBed bed guard is designed to help prevent young children from rolling out of bed at night. Its firm PU foam core creates a soft barrier along the edge of the bed. Beneath the sheet, it becomes part of the sleeping surface, preventing gaps or openings where small bodies could become trapped. You can also place it on top of the sheet if you prefer.

Frequently asked questions about FAMBED® foam bed rail

Should the bed guard go over or under the sheet?

We recommend placing it under the sheet. That's what it was designed for: it creates a soft ridge that sits flush with the bed, rather than a separate piece with a gap beside it where little ones could become trapped. If you prefer, you can place it over the sheet instead.

Does the bed guard stay in place, or will it simply get pushed away?

Three things keep it in place: the non-slip grips underneath, the fabric panel tucked beneath the sleeping child and the child's own body weight. Together, they prevent the bed guard from being pushed away or down during sleep.

Can the cover be removed and washed?

Yes. The removable, washable cover is made from OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certified cotton. The bed guard also provides an extra layer of protection for the mattress topper and bed along the edge where accidents are most likely to happen.

How long will it take for the bed guard to arrive?

The bed pocket is in stock, so it does not need to be made first. We send it as a parcel, and you can usually expect delivery within 3 to 5 working days of placing your order. You will receive Track & Trace updates once your order has been dispatched.

Can we return the bed guard if we change our minds?

Yes. This is a standard stock item, not something we sew to order, so you have the full 14-day right to cancel. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you receive the item. If you order several items together and they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the final item. Email us at hello@fambed.com and we will arrange the return. You cannot cancel your purchase simply by refusing delivery without also letting us know.
