The FAMBED® family bed mattress, sold separately as a replacement. Our reversible pocket-sprung mattresses offer two different comfort sides to suit almost every preference. The only exception is a soft feel, which we do not recommend for co-sleeping. The medium-firm, progressive comfort we recommend for co-sleeping delivers superior motion isolation and optimal safety. It reduces the risk of temporary dips forming around heavier adults during the night, which young children could roll into. This not only improves safety, but also gives the whole family a less disturbed night's sleep.

14-day cancellation right

If you order several items together and they are delivered separately, the cancellation period begins on the day you receive the final item. Six widths for your sleeping surface

The mattress comes in six widths from 70 to 140 cm and two lengths, 200 and 210 cm, so you can combine them to create the overall bed width you need. It is 16 cm thick and reversible, with a different firmness on each side.

Super product, good and personal service

We had ended up de facto co-sleeping because of the 4-month sleep regression. An extra matching box mattress and a fambed system made room for everyone in the same bed. Ordering and delivery worked perfectly, the mattress topper is comfortable, the sheets are lovely although a little thin, but then they take up less space in the washing machine. You can feel the bed bridge when lying on it, but I have not found it disturbing. The strap for securing the mattresses works brilliantly, we have not needed any additional fastening, which makes cleaning under the box mattresses easier. We had ordered 3 sheets but only received 2. When we contacted them, a new sheet was promptly put into production and dispatched. Super good service, the whole family is very satisfied.

Two firmness levels in one mattress

The spring mattress is reversible, with a different firmness on each side. Choose Medium/Firm for medium comfort on one side and firm comfort on the other. Choose Firm/Extra Firm for firm comfort on one side and extra-firm comfort on the other. You can switch sides simply by turning the mattress over, at no extra cost and with no tools required.

Does the spring mattress feel soft or firm?

It's reversible, with a different comfort level on each side. Choose Medium/Firm for medium comfort on one side and firm comfort on the other, or Firm/Extra Firm for firm comfort on one side and extra-firm comfort on the other. We recommend progressive, medium-firm comfort for co-sleeping, and don't recommend a soft mattress when several of you share a bed.

Which firmness should we choose?

Base your choice on the heaviest adult in the bed, as their weight determines how much the springs compress. Medium/Firm is recommended for weights up to 80 kg or if you prefer a softer bed. Firm/Extra Firm is recommended for weights up to 140 kg or if you prefer a firm bed. Whichever option you choose, you can switch between the mattress's two sides at home simply by turning it over, free of charge and without tools.

Why don't you recommend a soft mattress for co-sleeping?

A firmer mattress reduces the risk of temporary dips forming around heavier adults during the night, which young children could roll into. This not only improves safety but also helps the whole family enjoy a less disturbed night's sleep. That's why we recommend progressive, medium-firm comfort with superior motion isolation when several of you share a bed.

How soon can we have the spring mattress delivered?

The spring mattress is a standard stock item, so we can usually deliver it within 3 to 5 working days. You'll receive Track & Trace updates once your order has been dispatched. If you order it with a family bed, mattress topper, headboard, sheet or bed skirt, the entire order will follow the longer delivery time of around 5 weeks.

Can we cancel our spring mattress purchase?

Yes. As the spring mattress is a standard stock item, you have a 14-day right to cancel when you buy from us. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you receive the mattress. If you have ordered several items together and they are delivered separately, the period starts on the day you receive the final item. You cannot cancel your purchase simply by refusing delivery without also letting us know.
