A strong foundation for your family's sleep
Hidden beneath the cover, the frame is made from solid FSC-certified wood. It is built to withstand years of use, which is why the wooden frame comes with a 5-year guarantee.
Silent pocket springs
Each spring moves independently, so you don't disturb each other.
Innovative non-slip system
To stop the mattress topper from sliding around when the children use the bed as a bouncy castle, the bed cover comes with non-slip grips as standard to help keep it firmly in place.
Practical, removable and washable cover
A practical solution when you have little ones at home. The cover fastens to the wooden frame with Velcro, making it easy to remove and wash, or replace if it becomes worn or you fancy a change of colour.
Oak legs
4 visible oak corner legs give the bed a light, floating look, while the concealed centre legs also hold the frames securely together. After your purchase, choose your preferred leg height: 10, 13, 19 or 23 cm.
Firmness
Dual-comfort spring mattresses with a 95%+ match rate
Each mattress is reversible, with a different firmness on either side, so you can find the comfort that suits each of you at home, at your own pace, simply by flipping it over. Follow our configurator guide and we will get it right in 95% of cases. If you happen to be among the unlucky 5% who do not find their preferred comfort on the first attempt, there is no need to worry: we will simply exchange one or more mattresses for a fee of DKK 600 per mattress, plus delivery!

Individual pocket springs
Each pocket spring works independently, minimising movement transfer across the bed. Every spring is enclosed in its own fabric pocket, which also eliminates noise caused by movement.
Two foam densities
The foam has one density on one side and another on the reverse. Together with the springs, this creates two distinct firmness options in a single mattress.
2 mattresses, 4 firmness levels
After several years of product development, we have created a seamless transition between 4 different firmness levels using just 2 mattresses. Combined with our mattress topper, they suit the preferences of the vast majority of people, resulting in exceptionally high customer satisfaction.
Zones
Zoned pocket springs
The spring mattresses feature zoned pocket springs, with slightly different levels of support across each zone. They provide a little more resistance where the body is heaviest and give a little more where it is widest. This allows areas such as the shoulder to sink slightly deeper, making side sleeping comfortable too.

Premium FAMBED® natural latex mattress topper
7 cm premium mattress topper with a 5 cm perforated 100% natural latex core and a washable natural TENCEL™ cover. That means 100% natural, OEKO-TEX®-certified materials. Spanning the full width of the bed, the mattress topper works with the spring mattresses to give the whole bed premium progressive comfort, providing responsive support rather than letting you sink into a dip.

The mattress topper core is responsive, breathable and durable, with perforations for enhanced breathability and temperature regulation. The medium-firm, high-density material provides progressive support, making it ideal for accommodating weight differences across a family bed, while retaining its shape for many years.

The mattress topper is one of the most important layers in a bed, which is why we have chosen only the very best materials. Natural latex offers a range of superior properties, including breathability and antibacterial benefits.
Washable natural TENCEL™ cover
100% natural materials: TENCEL™ and natural latex are both known for their antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties. Accidents can still happen, of course, so the cover is removable and washable.

All textiles and foams are OEKO-TEX® certified, while everything that touches or sits close to the skin is made from 100% natural materials: cotton, natural latex and TENCEL™. The frame is made from indestructible solid, FSC-certified wood.
What the bed is made from

Every material that comes close to your skin or your family's is 100% natural, while all foams and textiles throughout the bed are OEKO-TEX® certified.
Cotton bed sheets
The sheets are made from 100% natural, breathable, OEKO-TEX® certified cotton with a 300 thread count sateen weave. The weave strikes the perfect balance between crisp and soft, and each sheet is made to fit your bed's exact dimensions.
Natural latex mattress topper
The unique properties of natural latex create an even, comfortably temperate sleeping surface for the whole family. Perforated natural latex provides excellent breathability, as well as hypoallergenic and antibacterial properties.
TENCEL™ in the mattress topper cover
The cover is made from 100% OEKO-TEX®-certified TENCEL™, a natural, hypoallergenic material free from chemical treatment. The structure of TENCEL™ fibres provides good breathability and optimal temperature regulation, while TENCEL™ also naturally inhibits bacteria and mould.
FSC-certified wood
Behind the cover is a solid wood frame made from FSC-certified timber and recycled foam from production offcuts.
Modular
The family bed that grows with your family
Beneath the cover, the bed is built from separate modules. This lets you add more sleeping spaces if your family grows, or remove modules and move them into your children's own rooms when the time comes.

Fits into any home, even through narrow stairwells
The bed comes in modules and is assembled on site. Only the individual modules, rather than the bed's full width, need to fit through your door. The largest module measures 140 × 210 × 20.5 cm, so the bed fits through even the narrowest stairwells and doorways.
Add sleeping space as your family grows
FamBed’s modular design lets you add more sleeping space if your family grows.
Move the modules into your children’s rooms
The modules can be separated back into individual beds when your children move into their own rooms. All you’ll need is a new bed cover for each of the smaller beds.

Do I need to be at home for delivery?
Yes. Your bed is delivered on a pallet to the kerbside, and we arrange the delivery time with you to make sure you're at home. We don't offer a carry-in or assembly service, but the modular design makes the bed easy for one person to handle.
Can I choose the mattress firmness?
You don't need to choose. Each mattress is reversible, with a medium side and a firm side, so you can try both at home and simply turn it over if you change your minds.
Will the bed fit through my front door and up the stairs?
Yes. The bed is delivered in modules and assembled in place, so it can be carried into most homes. Depending on the size, you'll receive one or more modular bed bases.
How long will it take for my bed to arrive?
All materials are in stock, and the beds, mattress toppers, sheets and bed skirts are made to measure. Production currently takes around 4 weeks, followed by approximately another week for delivery, depending on where in the world you live. Please allow around 5 weeks from ordering to delivery. At checkout, you'll receive a more accurate estimate based on your address. We'll email you with the final date after your purchase, as soon as it has been confirmed with our production team. In-stock items are delivered within 3-5 working days.
Will we need to buy a new bed when we no longer want to co-sleep?
No. The modular design means you can separate the bed into standalone modules when your children move into their own rooms.
